Sitting in my office listening to Gorecki, Symphony No. 3 (Symphony of Sorrowful Songs), I glanced out my window just in time to see a flock of seagulls taking wing off of the lake. It was one of those moments that made my heart leap at the wonder and beauty of it all.
To Hippy Goodwife: you remember correctly, I did walk home from Garvey, Schubert during a snowstorm. You didn't imagine it!
Hope you all have made it through the darkest time of the year! The light is getting stronger and the days are getting longer. Ah, is this not happiness!
