I wanted a ginger or marmalade cat. Or a cat with a salmon colored nose and green eyes. The perfect tea and toast cat. A cozy cat. A cat that would sit in my lap and purr or at least sit next to me and purr.
But no, Mr. R. and I now have Sabotage, the antithesis cat. We call him Sabo.
He is black with a few stray white hairs here and there. He has a black nose and black paw pads. His eyes are yellow. He is long and lean - the perfect Halloween cat. Nothing about him even remotely suggests tea and toast. He purrs but not very loudly. At this point, he doesn't seem too interested in being a lap cat.

And he is wonderful!
Guess I still have some things to learn about expectations and attachments.
